We have been NICEIC Registered since 2012 allowing us to certify electrical installations legally, Professionally and under the umbrella of the NICEIC Guidance and annual review strategy.
An EICR test will....
Reveal if any of your electrical circuits or equipment are overloaded
Find any shock risks and/or fire hazards in your electrical installations(s)
Identify any defective DIY work
Highlight any lack of earthing or bonding
Identify any circuit that needs RCD protection
What will you get?
An EICR report of 7 pages will be issued to you after the test
Stating whether the installation is Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory.
If the report is unsatisfactory it means Remedial work is required to make the installation safe to use. Observations and recommendations are recorded and a code to indicate the urgency of the action
is given.

As stated in the HSE web site the frequencies of the inspections and testing depend upon the type of equipment and the environment it is used on. For guidance on suggested frequencies of inspection and testing please check out the HSE web site - Maintaining portable and transportable electrical equipment.
Or please feel free to contact us and we will be more than willing to discuss the matter.
